Wei-tong Zheng 郑纬彤
Weitong earned her B.S in School of Life Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University. While at ShanghaiTech, she experienced her student internship in Hu-Ji Lab from 2015-2017. Hu Lab mainly focus on the study related to emotion and mental diseases. She then studied in the Department of Integrative Biology, UC Berkeley from 2017-2018 and worked as intern-student in Dan-Yang Lab. The Dan Lab focused on two areas including the neural circuits that control sleep and the mechanisms by which the brain’s frontal cortex exerts top-down executive control.
She joined the He Lab in 2018 and is currently investigating the early pathologies and underlying mechanisms of PD mainly using electrophysiology and optogenetics.
